So looky here everyone. I turned 31. Woo Woo!!
Turning 31 was no big woop. Last year I can say that turning 30 was kinda a big deal, but from now on a birthday is just another candle in the cake. And if you are in my family you get as many candles that you can scrounge up around the house. This year was 3. Anyway, all the numbers in the 30's sound the same. I hear that the 30's are suppose to be the best. I can already feel these next few years are going to be some of my favorite memories had. I started motherhood in the 30's. What can be better than being a mom. NOTHING!!! Emmi has made our life complete. I thank God everyday for loving and trusting us enough to send us the most amazing and healthy daughter to us. I can't wait to enjoy a lifetime with her and others that will hopefully come. Cross our fingers.
Brian and I got Grandma Jill to babysit while we went to the Gateway for me to do some Birthday shopping. No worries that Brian got off the hook this year from giving me some birthday money because I still had my Christmas money left over that I hadn't used. I have found that since Emmi I just can't go to the mall and "shop" like I did before. I find myself getting so close of knowing what I want but then Emmi loses it and I have to leave and nothing was bought. Sounds familar with anyone else? Or, I hurry and buy stuff without trying it on and then I get home and find out nothing fits and it all has to go back. And then I get this annoying pile of stuff that needs to go back to a gazillion different places. ughhh!! Anyway, went and saw a matinee movie "House Bunny" ok ok ok I know...I just had to go and see it, and Brian consented because it was my birthday. Bad acting but still pretty funny.
We went back to my mom's and had a nice homecooked meal with my family. My mom taught Emmi to say, "Happy Birthday Mommy". It was a good day!!
Yummy Birthday Cake!!

P.S. I love my new framed photo!!!

I hope you had a great birthday! I am soooo sorry I missed it! By the way, what was the framed picture?
Happy Birthday Angie!! Hope it was good! I know what you mean about shopping. I cant remember the last time I went to get myself clothes. I attempt (armed with goldfishes and all) but still Owen somehow throws a fit and we leave!! P.S. I love your hair!
Happy Birthday Angie!
Happy Birthday Angie!!! It sounds like it was a great day:) You're right, I think the thirties have much in store! I'm looking forward to them.
Happy Birthday Ang. I also am looking forward to my 30's and I do believe they will be my best years for sure. 30 year old women are hot, smart, (I hear they are richer), and just plain cool.
Whittney
P.S. I found out today we have a friend in common that I didn't know we did. It is such a small world.
Happy Birthday! Hope it was a great one. You look great. I turned 31 in Dec. and it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I don't even feel 31... do you?
Happy birthday Angie! Can I just say you are beautiful! You really look great. I'm glad you had a great day.
It was so fun to read about your Birthday. :) Is the framed picture the one from your wedding that I saw last time I was over? I love your blog. It's too cute and I love all the pics on the sides.
Your fam is the best.
I don't think you could be any cuter. Happy Birthday to you. I love to catch up with your little crew through Whitt. Hope all is well, Dani
