So do you think to yourself often, "I should have never taught you that"? I am kicking myself for teaching Emmi that GREEN means "GO", and RED means "STOP".
Emmi is now in the backseat yelling at me "GO mama, GO, it's GREEN" or "STOP mama it's RED". At first it was considered cute, but now I find myself thinking it is rather annoying. Crap.....I created my own personal back seat driver.

My little Easter Bunny!!!

That evening we went up to Grammy Jill's and dyed easter eggs. This year was probably the best eggs we ever dyed. Grandpa Ric got some organic colored eggs from Castle Valley and brought them home to dye. The colors came out so vibrant and earthy. So fun. Emmi had a blast spooning the dye over the eggs.

Sunday morning Emmi woke up to a surprise. The Easter Bunny came and left her a basket full of goodies. She got a new dress and little tea set. She played "tea party" all morning until we went to church.

In the evening we went back to Grammy Jill's for dinner and another hunt. I tell you what....she was all over this hunt. She didn't have to compete at all with other kids. They were all hers. She scurried around the yard like a little scavenger. Uncle Jonny played tricks on her and would rehide the eggs. She kept getting so excited that more eggs kept reappearing. What a kid!!! After all the eggs were found. She opened them one by one emptied the candy out and moved on to the next egg. In some eggs there were little toys, and even big girl panties. All she really cared about was opening the egg.

Thanks to all the family for making Easter so special for Emmi. She had so much fun. Next year it will be fun to see Emmi grasp just a tiny concept of the true meaning of Easter. We are so blessed because of our Savior and His plan.
Happy Spring!!!

Random days!!!
Since the weather has been so crappy and now that that I feel like a beached whale I feel like we have camped out at home ALOT. Yeah.....I know poor Emmi. But I can say Emmi has improved tremendously on her independent play. Sometimes an hour has passed and she is still quietly playing.
Her new things......"cooking", and playing "rock-a-bye-baby" with her babies. She learned this one from her dance class. She gets her baby in a blanket and she swings the baby back and forth and sings the whole song. Her little voice couldn't be any cuter and what's even more impressive is that she can carry the melody perfect. She loves to read her books by "self". And she LOVES playing in the bathroom sink water. She supposedly is "washing dishes" We have complete meltdowns when that game has to end. She loves listening to the Mama Mia soundtrack and playing the "color game". My homemade game that has been a favorite of hers. The potty is a new love too. Her cousin gave her a potty and she asks to go potty all the time. All be honest it is getting quite old taking on and off the diapers and then she just sits on it for like 2 seconds and then gets up and goes and gets toilet paper to "wipe" and then no pee. She has been successful a couple of times. Brian and I applauded....jumped up and down.....gave her high 5's and did a little dance. She looked at us like we were retards.

I just pray this weather is here to stay!!!
