SAY CHEESE!!!! Emmi learned on Brian's birthday to smile hard on the count of 1-2-3- cheese. Hilarious. What a fun day it was. I think this year was all around a good birthday for Brian. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, which Brian swears it always snows on his birthday. We were able to walk to a little sushi place to eat lunch. Emmi enjoyed saying cheese at every moment she could. I tried to make flan per request from Brian. I think it is a mistake to make something for the first time and then invite people over to enjoy what you made. Oh yeah, I invited family over to partake of Brian's flan. But, I failed miserably with the flan, so no one was able to delight in a homemade flan. No kidding I had to literally pour it down the disposal. I sent my brother Jeff to an emergency run to Costco to grab a dozen Dunford chocolate doughnuts to save the day. It was sad, one little candle sitting in a doughnut.
